How to Spend A Zen-Filled Day At St James’s Club Antigua

Elite Islands UK - st James Club Luxury Bed

“…Can you hear the spa calling? Your body deserves to try the Tranquillity Spa’s signature well-being massage which uses Swedish techniques and relaxing scents to knead out any traces of tension. Ask for your massage to take place at the outdoor pavilion – not only are the views spectacular but the sound of waves and gentle sea breeze are hard to beat when it comes to ambience.”

All About That Beach – Why You’ll Love Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua

“…The beaches in Antigua are absolute knock-outs and the bay that Pineapple Beach Club sits on is up there with the best. This resort, however, doesn’t just reside on the beach but invites it in. Whether you’re waking up in a beachfront suite, tucking into a bacon bagel from the breakfast buffet or flexing your travel trivia in the quiz, you are never more than a few metres from the beach.”

A Cure for Winter Woes – Galley Bay Resort Antigua

“…Galley Bay is a very clever resort; cunningly hiding a wealth of facilities yet maintaining the feel of a boutique hotel. This may have something to do with the way the rooms hug the coast – an elegant, long stretch of golden coast (which Georgio Armani has chosen to own a home on one end of.) The beachfront rooms are arranged in villas, 4 to a block and each no more than 1 storey high.”

Antigua’s X Factor

“…The St James Club Antigua was the setting for Nicole Scherzinger’s ‘Judges Houses’ late last year. She turned up with Mary J Blige and Dermot O’Leary to listen to the girls’ auditions against a backdrop of calm clear waters and lush green mountains. That same backdrop was the one I woke up to this week.”

Finally Finding Zen at a Beach Club in Antigua

Elite Island UK - Grand Pineapple Caribbean Resort

“…So instead of jammin to Damian Marley at the reggae party, with the thousands of people who descend on Antigua for Sailing Week, we lazed by one of Pineapple Beach Club Antigua’s two pools, had our first, second and third Antigua rum cocktails and spruced ourselves up for an evening of feasting at the hotel’s Pineapple Grill a la carte restaurant before collapsing into bed, circa 9:30pm.”

8 Beautiful Spots on the Pink Panther Safari Tour in Antigua

“The Pink Panther Safari Tour in Antigua is awesome, especially if you get a fun / crazy group, like I did. Basically, you get picked up in this beast and then bounce around the island checking out the top spots for a few hours. It’s a great way to explore Antigua without the pressure and responsibility of hiring a car, because there’s no need for that when you’re on your Caribbean holiday is there?

We booked from the Grand Pineapple Resort, where we were staying for four days. All we had to do was be at reception for 9am, ready and waiting with a bag of sun cream and a camera.”

My Best Day at St James’s Club Resort, Antigua

“…They run a few day activities at St James’s Club Resort, the best of them though was the Float Fit class. The only place in the Caribbean to have the facilities, we were well up for the challenge at 9:30am. The goal, I think, was to have fun and stay on the board while doing a succession of balances and exercises.”

The Caribbean musical retreat that promises to teach anyone to sing!

The Telegraph inside the Club Resort Barbados with Elite Island Resorts UK

“It’s ten o’clock on a Monday morning. Outside, it’s a muggy 84F (29C); there’s a heavy sweetness in the air from the blossom by the pool; the crabs are shyly scurrying at the edges of the beach; a few chunks of coral gleam, half-buried, in the sand and the water teems with wrasse and angelfish. Inside the Club Resort Barbados where our choir is practising it is savagely air-conditioned and a man named Mike is helping us to find our diaphragms.”

Add a free choir workshop to your next Caribbean all-inclusive experience

The Telegraph have just shared our Caribbean beach resorts as the exotic lifestyle destination to learn to sing.

Our Caribbean Choir Workshop is free of charge (25 places available) at The Club Caribbean Resort – with dates in 2018 available for pre-booking now. Further dates are planned later this year and for September 2019 on Barbados and other Elite Island Resorts locations on Antigua and St Lucia.

Beach Therapy: An Escape to Antigua

Beach Therapy - Elite Island Resorts UK

“… The second half of my stay in Antigua was at the St. James Club Resort & Villas and let me just say – it is STUNNING. If you are looking for a chilled, relaxed holiday then I would highly suggest staying there. Because it’s an all-inclusive, everything is sorted out for you when you arrive so there is no stress about where to go and how much money it costs. In fact, as soon as I rocked up I went straight to the beach bar, ordered a margarita and looked at the stunning views of Coco Beach, where one of two white sand beaches on the resorts sits (the other is Mamora Bay on the other side). Although there were other guests, I never felt like it was too overcrowded or too busy – the resort is huge (100 acres) and there is a lot of space to roam around.”

“The Verandah Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive resort (and a certified Green Globe Resort with a green tick of environmentally-friendly approval) meaning the moment you step foot on the property you really don’t need to worry about a thing. It’s like living in a cashless society for days on end which is really quite fabulous.

This was my first experience of staying at an all-inclusive resort and I have to say that it really did take a lot of busy planning/thinking out of the brain. And for a girl who lives in London that is just the dream. If you feel frazzled because you have a busy life then I would highly recommend looking into an all-inclusive.”
